Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students while managing household routines, administering medications, and overseeing budgeting. Drive students to activities and lead devotions, including accompanying them to Sunday Chapel. Manage a schedule of nine consecutive duty days followed by three days off, eventually transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. This two-person position requires a legally married couple with at least two years of marriage, both 27 or older, to reside in on-campus homes. Candidates must hold a valid U.S. driver's license, lift 50 lbs, and demonstrate integrity. Salary is $44,768 per person with comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, and free housing and meals while on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
