Job Summary
Houseparents for married couples needed to live on-campus at a Milton Hershey School home, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, administering medications, driving to activities, leading devotions and Chapel, and managing household routines. The role begins as a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule with eventual placement as a consistent houseparent in a dedicated student home; includes relocation to Hershey, PA, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- Proven integrity and professionalism; able to serve as role models
