Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Manage household routines, administer medications, and drive students to activities while planning recreational engagements. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel. Oversee budgeting and household reporting. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with unscheduled weekday time while students are in school. Married couples must be 27+, hold valid driver's licenses, and commit to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
