Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, oversee budgeting and reporting, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead developmental, recreational, and devotional programs, including accompanying students to Sunday Chapel. Initially support multiple homes on a nine-day on-duty rotation before transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with a specific student group. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, age 27 or older, and hold a valid U.S. driver's license for student van certification.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
