Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes (8–13 students) and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and structure, including daily routines, medication administration, driving to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a dedicated Houseparent living with the same group of students in their own home. Relocation benefits are provided and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Complete individual employment applications (both spouses)
- Proselytizing prohibited during chapel/services
