Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) and provide supervision, mentorship, and support, including daily routines, medication administration, driving to activities, developing and leading activities, daily devotions, and budgeting/reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; salary provided per person with housing and meals on duty. Requires on-campus residence, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a weapon-free, smoke-free campus. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse, two-year-married requirement
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience with youth or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
