Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes, providing care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Work pattern starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with later transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Willingness to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
