Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School live on-campus in student homes (8–13 students) and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and routines, including medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and chapel. Responsibilities include budgeting oversight, planning developmental/recreational activities, and transitioning to a placed Houseparent role with a consistent student group. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to drive student vans, and the commitment by both spouses (married at least two years, both 27+) to apply as a couple. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided, along with comprehensive benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA and live on-campus
