Job Summary
Milton Hershey School is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA. Couples reside with a group of approximately 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
