Houseparents - Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

Two-person, married-couple Houseparents needed to live on-campus at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, to provide care, supervision, guidance, and activities for a group of ~8–13 students in an on-site home. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentoring, scheduling, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and leading developmental/recreational activities, daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. Schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. Benefits include salary of $46,917 per person (about $180,000 total per couple, with free housing and meals, utilities, and more), comprehensive insurance, retirement, paid time off, and relocation assistance with paid training. Qualifications include youth experience, a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans, and a commitment to a smoke-free/weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty; both spouses must be at least 27 years old and legally married for at least two years.
