Job Summary
Two-person married couple needed as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially serving multiple student homes with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students. Comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance are provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
