Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent role at a school campus in Hershey, PA, where married couples reside in student homes to supervise and guide 8–13 youths, manage daily routines, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and chapel, and oversee budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on, three-off initial schedule and eventual placement in a fixed student home; must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with van-certification ability, and prior youth-facing experience, and relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA
- Two-person role for married couple (spouses)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse requirement for application
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
