Job Summary
Two-person married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus in student homes and supervising a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent assignment with the same student group. Relocation assistance is provided. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage, retirement options, paid time off, and housing/meal provisions. Requires a high school diploma or GED, two-year married commitment, both spouses aged 27+, and a valid U.S. driver’s license with ability to drive student vans.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for married couple
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable leading daily devotions and chapel attendance
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Experience with youth preferred
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
