Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. The role involves supervising and mentoring students daily, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel. Responsibilities also include budgeting and household reporting. Initially, couples work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home. The position offers relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits, and requires both spouses to apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Two-person role for couples
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No alcohol on duty; smoke-free and weapon-free campus
