Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents live on campus in student homes, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support; duties include supervision, routines, medications, driving to activities, planning/developing activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, and household reporting; initial schedule is nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with potential transition to aPlaced Houseparent role living and working with the same group of students in their own home; includes relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive benefits, and housing/meal provisions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse two-year-marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role modeling for students
- Willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA for on-campus live-in positions
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
