Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparent role at Milton Hershey School. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students, managing daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, and planning developmental and recreational activities. Responsibilities include supervising students, budgeting and household reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing student wellness. The role progresses from assisting multiple student homes on a nine-on/three-off schedule to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students in a dedicated home. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits are provided; salary is per person with total compensation for a couple around $168,000 including housing and meals. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
