Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent couple needed to reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising 8–13 students, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include supervising and mentoring daily, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel attendance, budgeting and reporting; initial nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement in a single student home, plus relocation assistance and paid training; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, and housing/meal provisions for on-duty periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Two-spouse, both must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Proven integrity and professionalism
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
