Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in Hershey, PA, caring for 8–13 students in a home setting. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Schedule begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living in the same student home. Benefits include relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive health benefits, retirement options, PTO, and housing/meal provisions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
