Job Summary
Married couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and following a nine-on/four-off (initially) schedule with eventual transition to a placed houseparent role. This full‐time Flex Houseparents position emphasizes living with the students, fostering a structured, family‐like environment, and supporting student academic, emotional, and social development. Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
