Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Houseparents to live in on-campus student homes, provide care and supervision for approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, transport students to activities, plan and actively engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a nine days on / three days off cycle; eventually transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with comprehensive health and retirement benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and on-campus housing and meals on duty.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
