Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA. A two-person married couple resides in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. They start with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, then transition to a placed houseparent with the same group of students. Includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse two-year-marriage minimum
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
