Job Summary
Houseparents live on campus in Hershey, PA as a two-person married couple in a Full-time Flex Houseparent role. They supervise and mentor a group of approximately 8–13 students in on-campus homes, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, and actively engage in developmental and recreational activities. They lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, and follow a nine-days-on, three-days-off schedule before transitioning to a placed houseparent role with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Willingness to lead daily devotions and Judeo-Christian chapel services
- On-campus housing role in student homes
- Nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Planned transition from Flex to Placed Houseparent
- Compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol)
- Relocation and paid training provided
