Job Summary
Two-person married couple required to live on campus as Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Initially scheduled for nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and training. Requires on-campus residency in Hershey, PA area with relocation, and adherence to campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Two-spouse, legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
