Job Summary
Houseparents for Milton Hershey School are a full-time, two-person (married couple) role residing in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, chapel attendance, budgeting and household reporting, and ensuring student wellness. The role begins with a nine-on/two-off cycle before transitioning to a placed houseparent assignment in the same student home. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, tolerance for a smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and a commitment to Judeo-Christian chapel services; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be 27+ years old. Required Qualifications

- Pet restrictions: fish and one dog of approved breeds
- Ability to reside on campus in student homes
- Experience with youth (volunteering acceptable)
