Job Summary
Married couples reside on-campus in Hershey, PA as Full-time Flex Houseparents to provide daily supervision, mentorship, household management, transportation, and religious activities for a group of 8–13 students; role evolves from nine-on/three-off shifts toward a placed Houseparent assignment with benefits including relocation assistance and a comprehensive benefits package. Requires two individuals who are legally married for at least two years and both spouses age 27+, with on-campus housing and routine care duties for youth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse couple must complete individual employment applications
- Experience with youth (volunteer or work)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- No alcohol on duty; propose a smoke-free/weapon-free campus
- Commitment to Judeo-Christian Chapel services
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Respect for campus policies (no alcohol, etc.)
