Job Summary
Houseparents for Milton Hershey School live on campus in student homes, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. The role is a two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent position for married couples, initially supporting multiple homes with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement as a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; both spouses must apply individually and be legally married for at least two years, with a target age of 27 or older for both spouses.
