Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School reside in on-campus student homes, providing daily supervision, mentorship, medication administration, transportation to activities, and engagement in developmental/recreational activities. Responsibilities include planning routines, leading devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Requires a high school diploma or GED; both spouses must be at least 27 years old and legally married for two years. Must hold a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to become certified to drive student home vans; able to lift up to 50 lbs. Relocation assistance and paid training provided; salary per person is $46,917 with total compensation around $180,000 per couple when including housing, meals, and benefits.

- Two-spouse two-person role
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
Additional Requirements
- Two-person married couple required for the role
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- No alcohol permitted while on duty
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
