Job Summary
Houseparents pair reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and guide 8–13 students, manage household routines, supervise daily activities, administer medications, drive students to activities, lead devotions and chapel, and oversee budgeting/reporting. The role starts as Flex Houseparent with a nine-on/three-off schedule, transitioning to aPlaced Houseparent role living with the same group of students. Benefits include base salary per person, comprehensive insurance, retirement options, relocation assistance, paid time off, and housing/meal allowances. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, two-spouse married status for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with restricted alcohol use; successful candidates must complete separate applications for each spouse.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
