Job Summary
Two-person Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA reside in on-campus student homes to supervise and mentor 8–13 students, provide care and guidance, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and oversee budgeting and household reporting. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and progresses to a Placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years married (two-person role)
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
