Job Summary
Houseparents provide supervision, mentorship, and daily care for 8–13 students in on-campus homes. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading daily devotions and Chapel, budgeting, and reporting. The role starts as a nine-on, three-off cycle and progresses to a placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Employment includes relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits; two-person, fully on-site, full-time arrangement with housing provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse employment eligibility: both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and Chapel services
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children reside in the student home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
