Job Summary
Two-person full-time Flex Houseparents reside on campus in a family-style student home, providing care, supervision, and guidance for a group of 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, household routine management, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a placed houseparent role with a consistent student home. Requires a married couple, legally married for at least two years, with both spouses age 27 or older, and a high school diploma or GED; relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfort leading devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
