Job Summary
Two-person married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus in student homes and provide supervision, mentorship, and support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include managing daily routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and overseeing budgeting and household reporting. Initially supporting various student homes with a nine-on, three-off schedule, they will transition to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and that both spouses be 27 or older and married for at least two years; relocation to Hershey, PA or Lindside, WV is supported.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
