Job Summary
Two-person married couple role serving as Full-time Flex Houseparents on-campus, supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, coordinating routines and schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, leading devotions and Chapel visits, and managing budgeting and reporting. Initially nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group. Includes relocation to Hershey, PA and extensive benefits, including housing, meals on duty, health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off. Requires a valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty; couples must apply individually.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couples
- Couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Pet limitations: fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed
- For consideration, both spouses must complete individual employment applications
