Job Summary
Houseparents reside on-campus in student homes and provide daily supervision, mentorship, and activities for 8–13 students; role includes medication administration, transportation to activities, budgeting, and leading devotions with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle, with eventual transition to a placed houseparent living with the same group of students. Requires a two-person, legally married couple with a high school diploma or GED, age 27+, and willingness to relocate to Hershey, PA; includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits. Additional Requirements
- Two-spouse, married for at least two years
- Both spouses must complete individual employment applications
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in home
- Smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
