Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents (two-person married couple) live on campus in a family-like home setting for 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, daily routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and spiritual development. The role includes nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person, relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and on-site housing. Requires a high school diploma or GED, a legally married couple for at least two years, both spouses aged 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus. Proficiency in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Chapel attendance is expected; traveling and supervision duties are included.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-year married couple required
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
