Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents residing in on-campus student homes to care for approximately 8–13 students. They provide daily supervision, mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. The role transitions to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group of students. Benefits include salary per person, comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Protestant/Judeo-Christian Chapel involvement (proselytizing prohibited)
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
