Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents live on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise 8–13 students in a home setting, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support; responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, with a nine-on, three-off work cycle transitioning to a placed houseparent for the same student group; requires on-campus housing, a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license with certification to drive student home vans, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and is a two-person role for legally married couples (both spouses must be at least 27 years old). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older

- Experience working or volunteering with youth

- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
