Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School. Married couples reside in on-campus student homes to provide care, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving to activities, planning and leading development and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, and overseeing budgeting and reporting. Schedule initially consists of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent role in the same student home. Comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance provided; High school diploma or GED required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-spouse team must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
