Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple Full-time Flex Houseparents reside on-campus in a student home in Hershey, PA, to supervise 8–13 students and provide care, guidance, and activities. Responsibilities include supervision, medication administration, driving students to activities, planning and participating in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from nine days on / three days off to a stable Placed Houseparent assignment. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple) plus comprehensive benefits, relocation assistance, paid training, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
