Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent team living on-campus to care for 8–13 students in a student home. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications and ensuring wellness, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting, and supporting students’ academic, emotional, and social development. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, and may transition to a Placed Houseparent within the same student home. Requires two-person married partnership, minimum age 27 for both spouses, valid driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, and compliance with campus conduct (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol). Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-year minimum married relationship
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in student home
- Commitment to smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
