Job Summary
Two-person, married-couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School. They reside in on-campus student homes, provide daily supervision, mentorship, and care for a group of approximately 8–13 students, manage household routines and schedules, administer medications, transport and plan activities, lead daily devotions, oversee budgeting and reporting, and transition to a placed houseparent as the program evolves. The work schedule starts with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for married couple
- Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in student home
- Ability to relocate to Hershey, PA and reside on-campus
