Job Summary
Two-person, full-time flex houseparent role on a campus serving pre-K through 12th grade students. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, supervision, and mentorship for a group of roughly 8–13 students, including daily routines, medications, transportation to activities, debtless budgeting oversight, and religious devotions. Responsibilities include leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel, planning and participating in developmental and recreational activities, supervising schedules, ensuring student wellness, and driving students to activities. The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual placement into the same student home. Compensation is per-person with comprehensive benefits and relocation assistance. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; applicants must be a legally married couple with both spouses aged 27 or older and willing to complete separate applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to lead devotions and participate in Sunday Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
