Job Summary
Houseparents (two-person, married couple) needed to live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing supervision, mentorship, medications administration, transportation for activities, and development-focused activities for a group of 8–13 students. The role includes managing household routines, budgeting and reporting, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance, and transitioning from a flex houseparent (nine days on, three days off) to a placed houseparent. Requires relocation to Hershey, PA, full-time commitment, and a two-person, married-couple arrangement with a focus on student wellbeing, safety, and spiritual development.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs
- Experience with youth preferred
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Proven integrity and professionalism
