Job Summary
Two-person, full-time Flex Houseparent roles at Milton Hershey School: married couples reside in on-campus student homes (8–13 students) and provide supervision, mentorship, routine management, medication administration, transportation to activities, planning and leading developmental and recreational activities, and daily devotions. Initially working a nine-on, three-off schedule, with potential transition to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Includes relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, retirement, life, disability), paid time off, and housing/utilities on duty. Requires high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and both spouses aged 27+, with a commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus and adherence to Judeo-Christian chapel attendance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- No more than three dependent children in the student home
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
