Job Summary
Two-person married couple role as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on campus to supervise 8–13 students, provide mentorship, manage household routines and student schedules, administer medications, drive students to activities, plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities, lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, oversee budgeting and household reporting, with an initial nine days on, three days off schedule and eventual transition to a placed Houseparent role in the same student home; includes relocation assistance, comprehensive benefits, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-year married status
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans

- no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
