Job Summary
Houseparents for two married individuals (full-time) reside in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and handling budgeting and reporting. The role follows a nine-on, three-off schedule initially, with eventual placement in a single student home. Requires experience with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and a commitment to a smoke- and weapon-free campus with no alcohol on duty. Relocation assistance and paid training are provided; compensation is approximately $46,917 per person annually (about $180,000 total per couple) including housing and meals. Both spouses must apply individually and be at least 27 years old; roles are designed for two-person, married couples who will live and work with the same group of students long-term.
