Job Summary
Houseparents - a full-time, on-campus residential role for married couples. The position involves supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students in a student home, coordinating daily routines and activities, administering medications, driving students to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from a flex on-duty schedule (nine days on, three days off) to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Requires a two-person, legally married couple, both 27+ years old, with a high school diploma or GED, valid U.S. driver’s license, and experience with youth. Compensation includes salary per person with full benefits and relocation assistance; on-campus housing and meals provided.
Required Qualifications
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
