Job Summary
Houseparents (Full-time Flex) reside in on-campus student homes in Hershey, PA, overseeing a group of 8–13 students with duties including daily supervision, routines, medication administration, transportation to activities, and leading devotions and Chapel attendance. The role transitions from nine consecutive days on duty with three days off to a Placed Houseparent living and working with the same student group. Responsibilities encompass budgeting, household reporting, and coordinating developmental and recreational activities. Requires two married spouses (27+ years old) to fill the two-person role, on-site housing and meals, relocation assistance, paid training, and comprehensive benefits; on-campus environment with strict campus policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Chapel
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Two-spouse (married) requirement for role
- Age 27+ for both spouses
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
