Job Summary
Houseparents (two-person, married-couple roles) live on-campus at Milton Hershey School to supervise and mentor groups of 8–13 students in a family-like home. Roles are Full-time with an initial nine days on/three days off, transitioning to a Placed Houseparent role with the same student group. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines and schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions, accompanying Sunday Chapel, budgeting and household reporting. Benefits include salary of $44,768 per person (approx. $168,000 total per couple with housing/meals/benefits), relocation assistance, paid training, comprehensive health/dental/vision insurance, retirement options, and PTO. Requires high school diploma or GED, married for at least two years, both spouses age 27+, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and compliance with campus conduct (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol). Required Qualifications

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Committment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Comfort leading students in devotions and Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
