Job Summary
Married couples are sought to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents at Milton Hershey School, living on-campus in student homes and supervising a group of approximately 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision and mentorship, managing routines and student schedules, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine-days-on/three-days-off duty to a placed houseparent in the same student home. Benefits include salary per person ($44,768) with total compensation around $168,000 per couple, relocation assistance, comprehensive insurance, retirement and wellness benefits, and paid time off. Qualifications require experience working with youth, a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a two-year-marriage minimum with both spouses aged 27 or older.
